Shareholder Rights Directive II

Europe's Shareholder Rights Directive II ("SRD II") came into force on 03 September 2020. Securities Services has published Part II of our guide for Securities Services Custody Clients on SRD II (attached PDF). The purpose of this document is to support HSBC UK Direct/Global Custody clients and HK Global Custody clients with operational and technical information necessary for understanding and implementing SRD II changes. This information is in addition to our first client guide and should be read in conjunction to the SRD II Client Guide published on 17 June 2020.
