Streamlined FX with HSBC’s Foreign Exchange APIs

HSBC’s Foreign Exchange APIs have been embedded into Flagstone’s infrastructure, enabling clients to execute FX trades across multiple currencies without ever leaving the Flagstone platform. Once clients accept the rate displayed, the FX trade is processed by HSBC and settled seamlessly into the client’s accounts, creating a frictionless experience.

For Flagstone’s clients, this offers a substantial benefit, as there is no need to coordinate with third-party providers. This in turn helps retain customer deposits within the platform. Flagstone also benefits from a new revenue stream and a simplified reconciliation process thanks to HSBC’s Virtual Account structure.
